Nursing Clinical Ladder Council
The purpose of the Nursing Clinical Ladder Council is to ensure the integrity of the peer review process. The Nursing Clinical Ladder Council promotes Benner’s professional advancement model From Novice to Expert, autonomous nursing practice, and clinical advancement at the bedside. The Nursing Clinical Ladder Council also provides alternative pathways of career development, and a constructive, objective evaluation process. This Council supports leadership and mentorship; serves as a resource and advisor for clinical advancement, and determines the advancement of clinical ladder candidates. This Council also has the responsibility to evaluate the effectiveness of the clinical ladder program and implement changes as necessary.
