The Nisus Research Department of Northern Michigan Regional Hospital is the only one of its kind in the region, dedicated to working in collaboration with physicians, pharmaceutical, government sponsors, and research subjects to provide support in conducting clinical trials. Clinical trials participation allows access to new therapies and diagnostics, and increased physician and research nurse contact, which provides a unique compliment to the high level of care offered to patients utilizing the services of the hospital.
Nisus Research is currently involved in multiple clinical trials including, but not limited to, cardiology, rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes and kidney disease.
